Urbane Cafe - Arroyo Grande

My wife and I are big fans of Urban Cafe. We used to visit the SLO locations when we were in college and were thrilled when a new Urban Cafe opened in the area. While we think the food is decent, we have experienced a series of issues during our visits. One major concern is that sauces are frequently only half-filled, such as dressings for salads or other add-ons we have paid for. Unfortunately, the app doesn't allow for easy customization, so we always have to place our order as is. The staff is friendly, but there seems to be a lack of quality assurance when it comes to order accuracy. I have had to call back multiple times due to missing items. Additionally, the cookies are often too hard, as if they were overcooked or left under the heating lamp for too long. Despite these issues, we will continue to dine at Urban Cafe as we appreciate having a healthier fast food option. We hope that over time, the consistency and quality of service will improve.

I was recommended to try this restaurant and I had never heard of it before. It is conveniently located right down the street (welcome to the neighborhood). I visited during lunch and it was very busy, so I'm not sure if it's always like that. However, when my food arrived, the Ahi Tuna was fantastic. The ingredients were fresh and there were many small details that made the salad a delicious lunch option. I don't usually eat a lot of bread, but the roll that came with it was soft and tasty. I will try to visit during off-peak hours next time and try a rice bowl. Overall, it was a great start and I will definitely be back.

I was pleasantly surprised by Urbane Cafe. While I enjoy Panera Bread and other healthy options, they can sometimes feel like just another version of fast food. I found Urbane to be both flavorful and satisfying, making it a great choice for a quick and healthy meal option.

I enjoyed the SM style BBQ chicken salad, it was both fresh and flavorful. The craft sodas were also a delightful change from the usual beverage options. I look forward to returning to sample more dishes.

I was pleasantly surprised by how good the restaurant was. I had the salmon salad, which was delicious and full of ingredients. I enjoyed the meal on the terrace with my son and his friends. Overall, it was a great experience. In the words of the Terminator, "I'll be back."
