Fu Xin - Arona

I asked twice to take food since my house is next door, regular food, very cheap prices. typical cheap Chinese restaurant.

Last came here a couple of years ago, it has always been popular, particularly with older Brits who enjoy the service and the free bottle of wine, which seems to have disappeared. The food was o.k. and the service as good as we remember but the final bill seemed high, they do add 7% tax to the bill, as do many of the restaurants here now. Chinese food used to be much cheaper but not anymore. I realise all restaurants have had to put prices up but the final bill was a bit of a shock.

We first visited this restaurant last year and were really impressed with it. What a difference a year makes, this time the food was awful. We had a banquet and the quality of the food was dreadful. The service also left a lot to be desired. We will not be going to this restaurant ever again.

We dined here last year and it was very good. When we visited this year, we ordered the same dishes that we’d had previously but I was disappointed with the tropical salad. Last year, it was slices of mango, kiwi, melon and strawberries. This year, it was a plate of shredded lettuce with a spoonful of canned fruit cocktail on it. Just horrible! The mains were very good thankfully. I would go back but probably have a different starter.
