Restaurant bewertenThe food was lukewarm at best. I absolutely have had better back home. What was fun for us were their specialty drinks. Their bartender knew what he was doing. The atmosphere was nice. The waitress scared me with her fake eyelashes though. I think she could have mopped the floor with those things, they were so long. As to your comment, I will never return to your restaurant. Don't worry. Report all you want. My review will be reposted again. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Holy smokes. Smokecraft is the pinnacle of excellent American barbecue in the DMV area. Every level of their barbecue, from the meats to the sauces, have had the careful curating of a champion pit master. Juicy chicken, tender ribs, flavorful pork, smoke rings on the brisket all enjoyed in an elevated dining experience. 10/10 Definitely worth going out of your way to try.
Came here for the first time tonight with a coworker while in town, you walk in and you can immediately smell the wood. The place was clean and the setup was great. The drinks were delicious but didn 't capture those unfortunately. Service was great, I like that she didn 't hound us every five minutes and said ok let me know if you need anything else , and would very minimally come by to see if we were good.(that 's a plus in my book, not a negative because if I need something I 'll make eye contact or put my hand up to get their attention as we weren 't the only people in the building) If I lived in DC I 'd be back here almost weekly. Collards were a TAD salty, but if that 's the only complaint, HEYO! My coworker and I were talking about prices, but let 's be honest, it 's DC, most things are pricey esp for good food. Oh and the dude playing golf, he concentrated so long that he had to have won the game.
The food tastes pretty good so I made a catering order for a small group I was having at my house. I cater often with events I 'm responsible for at work, so I 'm very familiar with the standards. The amount of food was not sufficient for the number of ppl. I immediately noticed by how small the containers were so I asked about the quantity. They told me l should be ok . Well, I wasn 't. I don 't recommend using them for catering.
We came on a Sunday around 6pm an were sat very quickly. My husband loved that there were various games on and we enjoyed the high end lodge feel. It wasn't loud and the workers were quick and helpful. We loved the complimentary cornbread and were please with the amount of food we got. We got the three meat platter with the jalapeño cheddar sausage, chicken, and sliced brisket with mac n cheese for our side. The flavor of each meat was good although the brisket was a bit dry. We were somewhat unimpressed by the Mac n cheese- it seemed like noodles with a melted cheese layer over the top (the cheese layer was tasty though which was redeeming). Our favorite part was the selection of 6 BBQ sauces to mix and match with our meal. Definitely try the pineapple bourbon sauce!
