Restaurant bewertenWe stopped here for supper and had one of the best meals in Arles. The staff were friendly and had a great sense of humour. The local Rose wine was delicious and we had a second carafe! The food was good quality and the omelette was more like a soufflé. The chocolate cake was to die for that we had for pudding.
Great vibes, food and natural wine on this lively spot on Place Voltaire. Really interesting and substantial carte des vins for the oenophiles. Recommended.
He and his buddies sang really bad off key Mexican lyrics acting like they were professional street players. Then insisted everyone sitting enjoying their meal pay up for the entertainment. I promised to make him famous, so, pass along his picture. I refuse to pay his ransom and simply spat, aovoise.
Had moule frite. Better than we had I Paris a few days ago round corner from our apartment there. Really plump, fresh and tasty with excellent fries plus ice cream €13 My wife had tomat, mozerello and pesto - more than she could eat €4.50!!!! All less than one starter at Tilline last evening. Well worth a stop and two Spanish/Gypsy singers/guitarists. splendid.
Based on other reviews, I had a spectacular experience. However, all I wanted was an espresso at the bar around 9:00 a.m. It was quick, efficient, and cheap. While I expected to drink it "Italian style," at the bar, a waitress invited me to see at a table beneath the tree canopy. It provided me with what I wanted. However, I could see the edginess mentioned by others. I rather liked the presence of the communist headquarters just across the street. It added charm to the brief visit.
