Snow Queen Restaurant - Antigonish

While visiting a friend in Antigonish today, we decided to eat at Snow QueenI ordered the Snow Queen breakfast plus a vanilla milkshake.

Different that you order your food at the counter and they serve you after at your table. It was a bit echoy so it was a bit loud which disturbed my autistic daughter. The food was good for the money though.

This place is a diner type experience where you order at the counter and the food is delivered to your table. It is located a few step away from the University so is ease to locate, with ample parking. They have a great breakfast menu which is served all day. The fish and chips are the best in town. Service is quick and the restaurant is clean.

I ate here a few times when I first moved to Antigonish. My house was not ready to move into yet and so I stayed at the motel next to Snow Queen. You get a free breakfast every day you stay at that motel. They have real breakfasts made fresh and the coffee is pretty good too. Everything seems to be homemade and the staff are friendly. If you're in town and want to avoid all the fast food chains on James Street, check this place out! It's all good Canadian food.
