Ben's Burgers - Ankeny

We visited this restaurant for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The burgers had smash-style patties and the buns were better than traditional hamburger buns. The fries stayed crispy even after our burgers had cooled down. Ben came out to our table to check on us and see how we liked everything. Overall, it was an excellent first visit to this restaurant.

I spontaneously visited Ben's Burgers with my fiancee and found it to be a very clean burger spot with friendly employees. However, we were disappointed by the lack of flavor in the cheeseburgers, as they seemed to only be seasoned with salt. There was very little sauce, leaving the burgers dry, and the cheese was not even melted. The burgers were thin, which made us understand why they kept offering a double cheeseburger. On a positive note, the French fries were crispy, hot, and had a good salt ratio. The prices were reasonable, and I am considering going back to try a double cheeseburger next time.

Contender for top burger in the metro area! I'm a bit of a burger aficionado, and Ben's is in my top 3 stops within a 50 mile radius of Des Moines. Fresh ground hamburger cooked to order is the only way. You can taste the freshness at Ben's Burgers.The patties are so tender and juicy that they would fall apart if it wasn't for the delicious toasted and buttered bun holdingthe show together. The fries are outstanding as well. Fresh, crispy, with a nice texture and chew that keeps you digging in formore. Ben's Burgers has hit upon a combo that has had me stopping weekly for quite some time. Their burgers are quite thetreat.

The burgers at this restaurant are delicious and juicy, made to order. The fries are great and the service is amazing. I come here once a week between classes. I placed an order today but realized I had forgotten my wallet. I apologized and was about to leave, but the employees were so kind and told me I could have the meal anyway. Thank you so much!

Very delicious burgers, fries and shakes. Food was hot fresh. I didn?t have to wait too long. The only reason for 4 stars is because I paid extra for a side of ranch for my daughter and got hardly any. Not even half of the container was full.
