Roll Star Sushi - Anaheim

I don't think this place uses fresh fish. Felt the fish was from a manager special section of the outgoing seafood section of Stater Bros. Advance supermarket sushi over this place. I couldn't finish the reels and sushi because the fish was pretty bad. The fish including tuna and salmon looked like a sponge and texture was the same. The rice is muddy and there? There was no taste. I would recommend buying instant yakisoba from supermarkets, as they taste about 18 times better.

It's a good place, they have decent sushi and decent prices and I've been here multiple times because of it but they also make it feel weird a lot of the times I've been here. Like, the workers there don't like me being there even when the restaurant is empty, it just feels like I'm being a nuisance to them and it started to make me not want to go there as often as I did before. Also, one time I saw the chef in the back push whatever he put in the trash can down and went back to work without washing his hands or anything like that and that made me feel really off when I knew he was working on my order so yeah, I would recommend this place but like a one off type of place.

Fast service, good pricing and large rolls! Every time I?ve called in a pick up order they have always had it ready before the time they said it would be!
