44 North - Altoona

This was our first time eating at 44 North. The second level, overlooking the amphitheater and the Veteran Park on Memorial Weekend was a really nice feature. This is a great atmosphere in the River Prairie area and being able to have an semi-outdoor dining experience really added to it. Service: Dine in

Overall, great service and friendly staff. We loved our cheese curds. Tried a frozen rum flight of drinks which was fun, but ultimately not the right mix for me. Generous portions for the price. We had chicken tacos and broasted chicken. Tacos were good but spicy and chicken was too salty for my preference. Would go again but try different food options.

Burger was tasteless, ribs were not good, steak was overcooked and returned to be brought back as they said they made a new one but pretty sure it was the same steak. They took a whole $6.00 off the bill. Cheese curds were good. Mixed drink was missing the bitters. We were here not long ago and was not good. It use to be. Well never be back!
