Restaurant bewertenWe ate here on a Sunday night the service was great, and the food was excellent. The staff was personable, attentive, and pleasant. We had the deviled eggs and pork belly appetizers wow, that pork belly was amazing (we ordered a 2nd! ! We had 6 in our party; among us we ordered the trout, salmon, pork chop and strip steak. Honestly, we ate every bite. Its early days for this new hotel/restaurant trying to open during Covid. The only complaint was trying to find it online to see the menu and/or book a reservation. This is a nice addition to the downtown Alpharetta food scene. We will absolutely be back!
We had the pork belly appetizer, the Caesar salad, mussels, pan seared chicken and the bread pudding and everything was amazing. Amy was our server ams she was amazing! Shout out to Lionel the manager. The experience was amazing! Thank you!
New place, so was expecting an enjoyable dinner. The FPH is associated with the Hamilton Hotel. I wasn't aware of the association, it’s obvious if you look at the link to the menu but I missed that link. My first impression was hotel dining area, you know you’ve been there for breakfast in the morning. Maybe a buffet off to the side, maybe not. The bar setup was similar to an event bar at Roswell auditorium. Short wine list and from the list my first two chardonnays’ picks were not available. They had a higher priced chardonnay that I was able to acquire at the lower price given they didn't have the other bottles. So, I save six dollars and only paid $16 a glass (outrageous). I ordered a Dark Stormy, asking if they had ginger beer I was told yes and waited 30 minutes for a drink that was similar to a D S but tasted like rum, soda water and some ginger bottled flavoring (dead on arrival). We both decided to go with small bites. Our expectations were now at a low point. We both ordered Crudo which was tuna that day. Tiny portion, with a radish pepper garnish that was spicy. Why hide the tuna in so much spice! The tuna itself was excellent but too little. I was going to have the Pork Chop, having read it’s excellent but perhaps written by someone that hasn't experienced all the exceptional restaurant within a short walk. Instead of the entrée I had the Southern Caesar with chicken and my wife had the Fulton Crab Cake. My salad was good but they should just call it a Southern salad as it tasted nothing like a Caesar salad. My wife’s Crab Cake was good but it came with a small salad that was heavily spiced. She couldn’t eat the salad. So overall it was a disappointment.
Limited wines due to a noisy wedding near the bar service. The fish were overcooked and dry, although our applications were not overcooked. Beignet Dessert was tasteless. Ambience very nice, except for the next door noise. Appetizers of crab fritters and tuna good. Ribeye and Pasta good.
A server for the whole restaurant. Not acceptable and too much pressure on them. Waited too long for the first glass of water. Felts like meal should have been composed.
