The prices of the dishes was ok for me but the squid is just average because it is just only 1 type of cooking for the so called sotong buncit jahat. Perhaps it can be serve in differently type of cooking such as goreng tepung, sambal, etc.
I get what I was looking for which was Nasi Putih, Ikan Bakar and Ulam.. It was good.. And the service was fast too.. We arrived a bit late (2.40pm), choices of dishes were limited.. If you want more choices, need to arrrive early.. Overall, I was satisfied..
I would like to suggest lady cashier to say trima kaseh encik which far better and professional instead of mekasih ya bang!! Be advised that he is my husband.. not yr brother or related family. We are customer.. much polite to address puan or encik.
The food are delicious unlike other shops which are too sweet in their dish. Price are reasonable unless you eat the SOTONG. Which is a bit pricy. Other than that, the best place to have lunch with varieties of authentic food.
The food was great but they charge food price according to your race....my sotong bakar which weight much less then the patron in front was charged much higher. What gives? Is this the trend in Alor Setar?
