Dastarhan - Almaty

This restaurant is beautiful with a simply pleasant interior. It's great that patrons can enjoy chatting with friends over tasty traditional food and drinks without being disturbed by loud music or overcrowding. The staff is polite and always smiling, ready to cater to their needs.

The restaurant Dastarkhan on Shevchenko Street has always been well-known for its cuisine, service, and delicious buffets for business dinners. I enjoyed dining there. However, in recent days it seems surprisingly quiet – it may be undergoing renovations or has closed down altogether. The signage is not working, and there are no customers or wait staff in sight. Typically, there would always be someone standing at the entrance of the restaurant.

"A fantastic restaurant!!! The cuisine is very delicious (I ordered veal with teriyaki sauce, it's finger-licking good). There is a great variety of dishes and drinks, and the rooms are well divided for both smokers and non-smokers. The interior is cozy, with a classic style including leather sofas and tablecloths. The restaurant is very spacious with bright lighting and pleasant music. However, the restroom is only designed for one person, which seems insufficient for such a restaurant. The service is at a good level, the staff are very friendly and polite. The best part is they are open 24/7 so you can order dishes from the menu at any time. I recommend it to everyone!!!"

We ordered one of the expensive dish on the menu(beshparmak).The meet was old(not fresh) and the taste was not delicious!
