Fui poucas vezes, mas de todas gostei. Mais calma que o normal, provavelmente pela localização. Atendimento QB. O que consumi gostei sempre bastante: tarte de chocolate e caramelo, galão, pão com chouriço, pastel de nata. Um local que visitamos sempre de bom grado.
Feriado, acordar tarde... 'Onde vamos tomar o pequeno-almoço? Pago eu... 'Vamos à Padaria portuguesa, 2,5€ um sumo de laranja e um croissant e está feita a festa (café é 'oferta ')O sumo estava ok (apesar de terem colocado gelo sem perguntar), o croissant era pequeníssimo, escusado será dizer que passado 1 hora a fome já tinha voltado. Simpatia qb (talvez por trabalharem num feriado), não perguntou se queríamos NIF na factura, cumpre o que promete.
Even if I am referring to Padaria Portuguesa's Alfragide store (the closest to me), as I know more than a dozen, I mean to comprehend the whole concept just below. Padaria Portuguesa intends to marry the bakery traditional shop concept to a pastry shop and...a bit to a tea house. The sizes is variable, going from tiny spaces to large and comfortable ones, as Alfragide's. You have near shops all at the greater Lisbon, and the lay out is on average very adequate and well thought. Clean, varied, very positive overall. Where they can acommodate a large table they do it, which is just perfect to large families and groups. The tables and seats are beyond reproach and the toilets are usually OK, with frequent cleaning. On the down side of the concept I will point out the constant music and advertising, very repetitive and annoying, mostly portuguese eighties Pop music. Even if you like it, it seems to repeat constantly, and the self publicity is too frequent. Second negative aspect, the connectivity. In some shops it seems that half of the time you don't get wifi and the other half is too slow. Thirdly, and most importantly, the bread offer, the pastry offer, but also the tea offer are too limited and seemingly narrowing as the brand and the network grows. There's so much it could be done to enrich the concept, by Padaria's management seems too focused on adding fast to the company's size. That's why new small businesses are emerging right now, pushing forward the goodness in Padaria Portuguesa's concept and elevating to a much better level. But that's matter for another review.

On the bottom of the concept I will point out constant music and advertising, very repetitive and annoying, mostly Portuguese eighty pop music.
