Wordsworth House And Garden - Allerdale

This wonderful little restaurant is full of charm and informative touches. The garden is outstanding and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable. The flavors of the food are delicious and the service is excellent. Tea and coffee are complimentary after the meal. It is one of the most friendly and welcoming places I have ever visited, with a strong sense of hospitality reminiscent of William Wordsworth. There are also hands-on activities available for both children and adults.

This restaurant was a fascinating place to explore, with a charming small garden unlike many other National Trust properties. I enjoyed the authentic displays in the dining room and kitchens, as well as the complimentary tastings. If you find yourself in the area, it is definitely worth stopping by. The cafe is small and cozy, with welcoming staff.

This Georgian house is absolutely stunning and definitely worth a visit when they are open. We took the audio tour and found it to be very informative and worthwhile. The National Trust even offers a free coffee and scone at the end. The staff provided great and friendly service throughout our visit.

Like many carnivals this has a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. there is a pleasant garden that would have been very large for the time. they can help a feeling for the environment that wordsworth helped promote, even though a very privileged one.
