The Kitchen (at Captain Visger House)

We went to dinner. We were not recognized in the main entrance, but we noticed people at the garden entrance and were sitting there immediately. That could be because we showed up right away when they were open at 5:00. Our waiter was new, but very friendly and a manager checked for us just to be safe. I had a soft rose limonade and a Hibiscus wine splasher that was both fascinating and tasty along with the beef Wellington, which was amazing. I was not asked what temperature I wanted the meat, but it rarely came to medium rare and I was good with it. The woman had a special beer, G

Had simply a delicious meal in The Kitchen, Alex Bay! Open Thursday Sunday 6 9pm in the bay... the fillet was super tasty, and scallops over flower puree with fried capers was excellent. the terrace is a great place to enjoy a meal

Best food on the 1000 islands by far. Quality ingredients, carefully prepared. Unique cocktails and a beautiful outdoor terrace. Just a few steps from the river to see the sunset behind the bold castle after dinner.

The best and freshest food in the area. Farm to plate is the way to go. Great original recipes, nice people and an outstanding location.
