The Executive Diner - Alexandria

A great savory breakfast bowl type dish; especially given breakfast options in the National Harbor area and thereabouts remains difficult after the closure of memorable places closer to the Braddock Road Station.

Chicken Avocado BLT was very tasty. Honestly better than I expected. The fries were good too. They weren't fried hard, but they had good seasoning. I wasn't sure what to expect in Executive Dinner. A very unsuspecting place. Its a neighborhood dinner.Food: 5/5

Parking was really the best feature of this restaurant, especially being in Old Town, it was nice they had their own parking.The service was fine, but yiu were checked only once or twice, which meant coffee refills were impossible to obtain, and they have the tinest mugs. Fast food to table though, we didn't wait long after we ordered. I asked for a medium steak and was given a well done one and couldn't return it as I never saw the waiter, so I made due. The food in general was meh! The best things were the home fries and grits. Lots of flies in the dining room, which was a bummer as we purposely choose not to sit on the patio. We are on the fence if we would try it again.

Outstanding!!Available parking is a bonus. Friendly and attentive service, food and beverages arrived quickly.Steak and eggs is delicious, the Angus strip is seasoned and cooked to perfection. Choice of home fries or fruit bowl is a very welcome addition.Thick and hearty pancakes have a nice flavor.Amazing find, we’ll be back for sure!

Very good Greek Diner in Old town with a large menu. Food was very good with large portions of well prepared dishes. Able to swap in sides without an up charge. Pleasant Staff, clean and efficient. The Gyro was epic as were the Chicken tenders. I will return when in the area again.Food: 4/5
