Restaurant bewertenOne of my favorite take-out places in the DMV. The food is spectacular and the service has always been prompt and courteous.
Great food, the best in DC area, everything just as good as you mom cooking.
This Mediterranean café has seating available. The chicken shwarma and baba ganouj are delicious. The spinach pies are okay, but very lemony. The older woman speaks softly, mumbles, and coughs frequently, making it difficult to understand her.
4.5 Stars. Being A Bit Picky! CUSTOMER SERVICE: George welcomed us when we came in. This is a market-restaurant. FOOD: Mixed Kabob, one of the best I 've had. It had three different types of meats. Plus the rice, hummus and tabuleth was SPOT ON! My favorite, hummus was fresh, balanced and a beautiful flavor. Tabuleth, was also fresh and not too lemony. The different meats were also full of flavors. And the different textures made the experience one full of grace for the palate . For a small family owned business this was a great experience. PICKY PART: Bathrooms need some tender loving care. Dolmas were on the 'vinegary ' side. The flavors were not balanced. The vinegar flavor was overpowering. RETURN FACTOR: 100% RECOMMEND A FRIEND FACTOR: 100% Place is one you must return.
The food cannot get more authentic. Truly phenomenal food if you are in the mood for an awesome Lebanese food bite without all the frills. The hummus is to die for. Freshly baked bread crispy hot out of the oven is served with the mezze. mouthwatering Manaeesh pies thyme, cheese, minced meat Lahm Bil Ajeen. This place is a gem hidden in the heart of Northern Virginia. The owner George is very pleasant and gracious. The service is simply delightful. This is not a white table cloth restaurant but a small cafe where the food is a truly authentic taste of Lebanese cuisine in a very casual mom and pop shop. If you go, don't miss their sweets halawet el jiben was delicious.
