Mandarin Chinese Sushi - Alexandria

We visited Mandarin on the recommendation of a family member. I'm so glad we took her advice! The restaurant is beautiful with backlit booths and modern lighting, creating a nice relaxed mood. Service was fast and 100% on-point. We ordered the BoBo appetizer which was more than enough to serve two. It came out with a flaming shrine in the middle of the platter! How cool! I had the Vegetable Egg Foo Young. It was spectacular. Veggies for days and the brown sauce was so yummy. I truly wanted to sample everything but ate my whole plate of egg foo young. I have dined in once but usually I just get it to go. The food is delicious! I especially love the fried pork wontons with sweet and sour sauce, and the sweet and sour shrimp. Great egg rolls and fried rice. The owners are really nice and the food is always quick to come out and tasting yummy. This spot was such a breathe of fresh air. I didn’t expect the beautiful ambiance, but the food was even better. Low mein has such great flavor the sushi was great! 5 Stars for the whole dinning experience. The food was great, Again . Never had any complaints on my visits . You can't loose with the Shrimp Fried Rice and Orange Chicken.
