San Remo - Alençon

We had lovely service and the food and wine were excellent (Spaghetti Bolognese and Lasagna, and a terrific Chianti). We love French food, and had been in France for 6 weeks. When we were looking for a dinner spot in Alençon, we found this, and loving Italian food, too, we tried it for a little change in tastes. That was a great decision we highly recommend it!

Excellent food. Great environment. Friendly. Spoke English. Packed constantly. We tried to visit twice but they just couldn’t fit us in. It was better than any pizza I’ve had in Italy.

When most of town restaurants shut down for August this was a gem of a find. Great pizzas and small ones for children. Lovely maitre’d. Fast service. Outside seating. Great atmosphere. It was fully booked we managed to get an early table at 7pm others turned away.

Great food, very friendly service. Option to sit inside or out. Prices marginally expensive but not excessive.

De passage à Alençon et par pur hasard nous avons fait une halte au San RemoEn dehors de l'accueil très sympathique du patron qui nous a présenté son vin des Pouilles en nous le faisant gentiment goûter Les pizzas au feu de bois sont à tomber fines et généreuses et les pâtes excellentesUn vrai italien !!!
