Restaurant bewertenWow! My family came across a post praising the food here, and we noticed Shaun and Sherrie were frequently mentioned. Today, we were in the mood for some comfort food, and we definitely found it! The staff was very friendly, the prices were affordable, and oh my, the food was delicious. The pasta salad tasted just like the one my mom makes, and it was so good! The mac and cheese was also a hit. Plus, the pigeon was fantastic! I can’t wait to place another order soon!
This is a fantastic local restaurant! They offer daily specials, but be sure to arrive early as word has spread about how great the food is. We went for the Friday night catfish special but unfortunately missed our chance. Instead, we opted for turkey and dressing. The turkey was moist, and the cornbread dressing had just the right amount of sage. The real mashed potatoes and green beans were cooked perfectly—done, but not overly so. The cornbread was excellent as well, with a slightly sweet, pie-like quality. The highlight of our visit was the friendly service. The dining area was small but immaculate. We can’t wait to come back!
Incredible soul food served in a down-to-earth atmosphere. The service is exceptional, and the Kool-Aid is just as delightful as the staff. The daily specials are fantastic, and the cornbread is absolutely delicious!
A complete hole in the wall, but that's not the only thing going for it. Good old soul food like fried pork chops, collard greens, and home made desserts. The only draw back was that everything was served on styrofoam plates with plastic utensils. Service more than made up for it, though.
Food was just okay. Very very greasy. I think it’s over priced, compared to other restaurants I feel you can get a better value. They also charge you for water, which is interesting. My bill was over $16 for six wings, two sides and water.
