The Human Bean Albany

We had a wonderful experience at this café! We went for a daddy-daughter date because my daughter was curious about it and had heard so much about the chocolate-covered coffee beans in every drink. She absolutely loved it. Thank you for creating her special drink and making her day even more enjoyable!

I really love this place and visit almost every day. However, it feels like there’s a new trainee almost every day. Just when I get used to my favorite staff, they switch it up, and sometimes the new employees don’t seem to know certain menu items or drinks. I've even been overcharged a couple of times, which is getting a bit frustrating. That said, I’m not planning on stopping my visits—I just think the staff needs a bit more preparation for their roles. Still love you all! I know it takes time to get used to things. I ordered two Snowy Pumpkin Breves, and even though they repeatedly confirmed my order, they still got it wrong. Instead of receiving both of them as I requested, they tried to give me one Snowy Pumpkin and a plain iced breve. I wasn't upset about the mix-up, but the staff was rude when I explained that I wanted both drinks to be the same.

I haven't tried their coffee yet, but my 68 Chevelle SS broke down there, and they kindly watched over it for me. I plan to try the coffee soon!

Always friendly and diligent about safety with masks. This is definitely my favorite location. The hot peppermint mocha with powder is an easy 11/10—always made with fresh espresso and a clean-tasting peppermint.
