Restaurant bewertenA lunch for my friends was a great success. We were welcomed by the friendly owners Patricia and Werner most and were encouraged to stay in the early evening as we wanted. We played Boule and went around the beautiful gardens and forest. We enjoyed afternoon tea and cake. Just at 6:00. Well recommended.
We were with friends near Bourran and called here for dinner. As the title says, everything was great, with a nice setting sat outside near the castle under a large umbrella in the evening sun. Typically relaxing here in France, the four of us enjoyed a three course meal with wine for under 80 euros.. Foie grass for starters I had Emince volaille (cream chicken with mushrooms and sauce) and my partner had Piccata Milanese(Veal) for nets followed by strawberry mousse for dessert. Wine was a bottle of Chateau Lagrange 2010 at a very realistic price. Patricia, which belongs to the castle, was our host, multi-tasking on a completely new level and spent time with us after the meal as well. Everything looked at, that was the highlight of our week in France and La Taverne de Lacaze is very recommended. A must.
Week or we, noon or evening, excellent warm welcome. I recommend without restraint. they made the effort to cook vegetarian not a simple salad) the whole family enjoyed
