Restaurant bewertenWe have had a number of lunches here with up to 8 friends. The food and service has always been very good. Nice views over the countryside. Worth a weekend visit for a leisurely country lunch. A nice selection of beers and wine is available as a compliment to your meal.
We showed up on Fathers Day without a reservation. We were seated anyway for breakfast and we're very pleasantly surprised with our breakfasts. We've returned another time for breakfast and another time for lunch. There's more to choose from on the weekends for breakfast and found out that they don't serve pizzas on Monday but that's alright we'll try it another day.The lady who serves us is very nice and always makes us feel welcome and comfortable.
The Rosemont cafe has two things going for it. Only an hours drive from Toronto to the beautiful Mulmur Hills area of Ontario and a chef and a kitchen that would be at home in any popular New York restaurant. The chef was previously at the Mono Cliffe Inn which was rated the second best restaurant in Ontario. Jason brings his imagination and great technique to this small cafe and general store. Lunches, dinners, take out, all fantastic. Stay as long as you want. Friendly staff. Reservations on the weekend as a precaution.
Nice gift area with great ideas. Always seem to purchase something. Last time I bought from frozen section the sheppards pie for dinner. It was very good. They also have a few tables and chairs for a coffee or light lunch.
Staff are very good. The place is spotless. Food is very good. I recommend the Monte Cristo Sandwich....delicious! I had a salad as my side.
