Restaurant bewertenAwesome in every way food is great, service fantastic and decor really interesting. Just drop the eftpos surcharge build it into your food prices annoying and unnecessary. And from Sept 1 this year new rules kick in for this practice.
Starting its life as a popular Food Truck, Sneaky Pickle found a permanent home in Kings Park. This iconic truck has gathered a huge following, selling out at every event with lines as long as can be. When I first found out it wasn’t anywhere north of the city line like everybody else, I rejoiced. It’s actually located in a row of quiet shops shortly before Cross Road. The front of the shop is painted green and the windows are all blacked out. It’s all very mysterious, initially I wasn’t even sure it was open!
I wanted to dine out in a nice cozy warm restaurant. Our flat doesn't have ducted heat. I had been looking forward to dining here for several months! When we walked in the atmosphere was good and I liked the decor. What I didn't like is the lack of heat! To make it worse the back door of the dinning room was open causing a draft through the whole restaurant. We were seated and we're told about the dpecials, which sounded yummy! Everything was great until I went up to order and was greeted by a rude, indignant server. I has questions about certain food items and her answers were flippant off the cuff remarks, with the soul purpose of making me sound like an idiot for asking. I ordered and went back to my frigid table to await this mouthwatering food I had been dying to try! Let me tell you, it wasn't memorable enough to write about. I wasn't impressed with the food and neither was my husband. The food tended to cool off quickly because it is served in enamel dishes that reminded me off tiny roasting pans. Will not be going back, extremely disappointed. This restaurant taut American bbq, but they aren't even close!
Simply great food and even greater service. We 've been super satisfied customers initially at the 'foodtruck ' and now at the restaurant. Jeff and Amanda makes simple great tasting meat, with awesome sides and yummy deserts. I 'd recommend everything, but the pork ribs are beyond the pale. We are fortunate to eat out a lot, and not limited by budget, and this is my number 1 no question. We have 'taken ' many friends, who are equally impressed... If only I lived closer, I 'd be eating there a couple of times a week...
This place is simply scandalous. No matter how good the foods can be or not, it never justifies appealing and abusive service. I'm never one who leaves any crippled, let alone a bad one. but this time I have to express my experience and offer some visible and conscious for future customers. booked for 7.30 seats for a Saturday night. with the COVID restrictions, we thought that the venue must have assigned limited seats in a time slot to avoid crowding and waiting time. at the arrival we were greeted by a huge waiting queue of ppl food to order more ripples in a narrow way to the restaurants. I went into the area and said we had a table booked; wanted to explain that please assign seating opportunities as soon as my 83 year old grandmother arrived and understandably I didn't want them to stand in the crowded waiting queue. Before I could finish the set, the “Manager” (short haired guy with green headband) cut me off and ordered me to “back up to the waits!” as if I were a year 5 children, not a customer who asked a reasonable question. they wait 5 minutes in wait, and we've been past the booking now. with the urging of my father (as oma arrived,) I went in and spoke with a nice girl about the same question again, got our table immediately assigned. but! wait! Just when I helped my whole family get into the dining room, kept us manager on the way, between packed diners, cried "where do they think they're going?"! we were shocked. then I explained the whole situation (why we wanted to sit to take my ordered grandmother into account). was I impressed at this point with all the experience so far, because I have re-pinned and inoculated before a busy amount? will you? but was I rude or out of line as a customer? not in the hell! beyond our wildest imagination, “Manager” showed his finger on my face and said: “This is the last time they will talk to me so!!!” I almost lost my breath. that was the one, the most detesting, humiliating and even shameful experience I've ever had as an expert. the rest of the night was a hole from there. the place was not to adhere to the rules of social remedy. the two open adjacent eating areas were filled with at least 150 ppl at any time; due to the heavy quantity and during booking we waited more than an hour to serve some sandwiches. Once we finish eating, I left with oma to avoid further exposure to such crowds. now look back, we should have left out at the beginning of the night immediately. but it was a long awaited family that dived quite late in the night, we were really leaving with not many other options. how were the food? I don't even go there. how would their tastes after misuse in public, waited an hour for foods that no longer serve as 20 minutes, and regulate at a place against social distancing? as the foods tasted, the least was careless; they do not come here if they want to be treated as humans. no food is worth it.
