Awesome little Chinese restaurant at Shangri La! Service was good food was awesome.. I recommend the river prawns to seafood lovers and Kung pao chicken had a nice crunch to it! The menu has changed since I visited in 2020 food choices were limited.. but the food tastes Chinese authentic.. will try the beef shortribs next time I visit!

Booked in advance for lunch and they had a dim sum lunch deal (start from ~AED138) which we took on. There were steamed dim sum, noodle, claypot rice, steamed bun, desserts etc in the package. Food was delicious, authentic and service was impeccable. We had the Golden Cricle membership to get some discount, overall highly recommended and would come back again!

Shan Palace is by far the best and only place in Abu Dhabi that offers a glimpse into what real Chinese fine dining is all about. The ambiance is wow, gold coloured carpets, wood panelled walls with traditional red lanterns and fans on the wall with Chinese motifs everywhere give it that intimate Chinese dining room feel. The food is excellent, we were over last week to try their new Shang Supper Club series and were absolutely delighted with the food. It's a four-course set menu that changes every day, three appetizers, a soup, four mains and a dessert. We loved the spring rolls, the clay pot beef short ribs and the Hong Kong style chicken. It's a must-try place, great for special occasions.

I’ve only dined here for their daily yum cha. The menu is varied, the dimsum unique and service is impeccable. I am a harsh dimsum critic and the ones they serve up here bring me pure joy. I'm usually more a fan of Cantonese dimsum but I will happily flock here any day if the week and cannot fault the food in any way. Superb value for excellent quality dishes! The restaurant itself is situated in an older but still very charming hotel. Lots of character all around. It’s my favourite place to enjoy Chinese food in all of Abu Dhabi.

Indeed fine dining We enjoyed great Chinese food, perfect service , with all health and safety protocols in place to make you feel safe. Beautiful Christmas decoration combine with the authentic Chinese one and the smell of the beach...ready to start the weekend Of course, not to forget to remember the beautiful, unique, luxurious hotel Shangri la, high standards as always.
