L'auberge Du Chateau

It was a long time since we wanted to visit this castle in front of which we pass regularly. We weren't disappointed. it is true that a very small part of the domain is accessible to the public, but we understand a lot that the owners want to keep some privacy. Our curiosity has been extensively relaxed by the beauty of architecture and restoration work undertaken. We can only congratulate the exceptional archival work carried out by the owners to give this building its 19th century look, all on its own financing. Bravo!

Great visit! In a bravely restored family castle and entirely by its owners with great care, we were able to exchange with them on the history of the places, its restoration. My children were thrilled like me.

A great thank you to the owner who has the passion to visit this beautiful cat of human size and explains the objectives, dangers and difficulties of a restoration aimed at giving back to the building and gardens their original appearance; a beautiful visit that bears witness, in addition to the large castles, to a more intimate view of this beautiful black Périgord.
