Wine Connection Deli And Bistro

Had lunch in Wine Collection prior to Covid-19 when we visited Phuket almost 4 years ago, we were amazed by the food there, especially the presto pasta. We had dinner here again this time. The food quality is still divine! The steak is outstanding. The only disappointment is that the presto pasta was no longer served in the new menu :’ hope they will bring it back!

The level of service was terrible. We 've waited for 40 minutes for pasta and omelet. After 30 minutes I asked our waiter of expected waited time. She said just a moment , went away and never came back. So I asked another one. The same situation repeated. Eventually I asked 6 persons. With 6th person I went directly to kitchen and only there I was told that our dishes will be ready in several minutes. So basically the kitchen forgot about our orders and noone cared. After that we had to pay 10% service fee :D Which is totally ridiculous.

The food is just adequate, yet the quality is declining over time. This particular location has an affinity for pop music with extra bass in the speakers, which gives the place all the class of a daiquiri bar in east Texas. Nothing goes better with your overpriced meal at a mall restaurant than bubble gum pop.

Had a lovely lunch here with my dear 1st born and the food was great in the end. Cold French onion soup isn't good and was wonderful when properly warmed
