Restaurant bewertenAlong Route 9, there are many nostalgic udon vending machines, but the vending machines here serve ramen and udon. I chose the ramen and it was piping hot and filled with plenty of ingredients, which left me very satisfied. Additionally, I unfortunately left something behind, but when I called to confirm, it had been delivered to me. I requested a parcel delivery service to my home, and they kindly accommodated my request, which was a huge relief. I felt that this "Michi no Eki" (roadside station) was very considerate.
This restaurant offers local vegetables, side dishes, and even wild boar meat. The highlight, however, is the rare ayu fish from the famous Takatsugawa river.
This roadside station is located on the way from Masuda City to Tsuwano. It is in a somewhat inconvenient location, but it is a popular rest stop with good event and town information dissemination functions. I used it because I was too tired to drive to Tsuwano at night, but it was crowded the next morning due to the Golden Week holiday period. The toilets are clean and easy to use.
