Huāng Bō - 新温泉町

I ordered the seafood bowl, which came with tempura and chawanmushi for only 1600 yen. I was surprised by the freshness of the fish, the generous portion size, and left very satisfied! And to think the set meal with this menu is only 990 yen...

This restaurant is located on the second floor of a building just around the corner from the coast. I visited during lunch on a weekday, and the parking lot with over 10 spaces was full, with many people seemingly heading to this restaurant. The restaurant seemed to be popular with locals as well, as it was nearly full and I had to wait a bit. At the entrance, each person was thoroughly checked for their temperature. I ordered the daily lunch special priced at 990 yen, which was popular among most customers. It came with a variety of dishes such as steamed egg custard, grilled items, and simmered halfbeak fish, offering good value for the price. Despite its simple appearance, the simmered halfbeak fish exceeded my expectations with its perfectly balanced flavor, freshness, and rich taste. Rice refills were available once per person, and the self-service coffee – I opted for iced cocoa – added to the feeling of getting a good deal. The grilled chicken dipped in sauce had garlic sprouts, lending a nice accent and delicious taste. While it may not offer as much variety or freshness as more expensive kaiseki meals, I was still satisfied with the generous portions and affordable price – no complaints here (laughs). I will definitely make a point to visit again when I come back to this area.

As rumored, the daily lunch special offers excellent value for money. I arrived at 11 am on a weekday and customers kept coming in one after another. The taste is great, and the quality of the fish is excellent. There was a sign saying that they will now be offering lunch on weekends as well as weekdays. I definitely want to go back, it's one of the few places I would recommend.

ここは、私のはお気に入りの一つ 今回は父の喜寿のお祝いで利用しましたが海鮮が新鮮で美味しって安価です。 他では海鮮は食べる気になりません。
