Restaurant bewertenI bought some cakes from this bakery because a friend recommended it. I must admit that I underestimated it, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality. I purchased four types of shortcakes - strawberry, Mont Blanc, banana boat, and tart banane. The sponge was fine and soft, and the cream was just the right amount of sweetness. Especially the tart banane had a crispy texture that was delightful. I wonder if they roasted the bananas? It was delicious. The pure roll cake had a light, fluffy dough filled with deliciously sweet cream. I felt like I had discovered a hidden gem of a cake shop. I definitely plan on returning when I visit Bibai.
There are plenty of sweets with the name "Bihoro" written on them, which may be good for those looking for souvenirs that show they have been to Bihoro. There are only delicious-looking cakes that catch your eye. There are also a few celebrity signatures, and when asked whose signature it is, they kindly tell you, allowing you to enjoy asking questions. I purchased soy sauce manju and bamboo charcoal manju, both of which were delicious.
I wanted something sweet. I wanted to eat traditional Japanese sweets! So, I entered the shop, but it turned out to be a shop mainly selling Western sweets. However, I didn't want to leave without buying anything, so I decided to purchase one cream puff, one Bibai pork bun, and one bamboo charcoal bun. I have only tried the cream puff so far, but it exceeded my expectations in terms of taste. The pastry was crispy and had a perfect balance of saltiness. When the saltiness combined with the cream inside my mouth, it created a delightful harmony. I am now thinking of trying their cakes next time!
