Restaurant bewertenMy wife and I are always looking for a place to eat for midnight except IHOP, Dennys or Old Chicago. We were so surprised that the East Side location in Central and Rock has a great food and friendly service! We ordered truffleries, Fried Pickles, Hickory BBQ Burger and a Hausburger. Between us both the meal was amazing and we have torn off everything! Her homemade ketchup, ranch and aeoli sauce is great. They also have local bottles for $2.50 and a wide selection of drinks to choose from. The bar and restaurant have a very friendly atmosphere. Our food was brought to our table in 10 minutes! Sure his bar food, but I'm back ready to chow down next week!
As a longtime fan of College Hill Dempsey's, I took my time before I visited the Rock Road site. I'm glad to say that the food looked and tasted the same! Service was good, and for a quiet Sunday evening I actually preferred the relative tranquility and tranquility of this situation compared to their College Hill version. The layout is much more open, cleaner, more like a conventional sports bar compared to its other Wichita location. We tried the special, the peanut butter Thai Burger, their Bleu cheeseburger and the sides of the sweet potato and truffle friries. The food came out quickly and everything was done well. Dempsey's burgers can be a little chaotic, and the PB Thai burger was no exception, but we don't feel it was a problem. Bleu cheeseburger was as delicious as ever. Both frits came crispy and warm, with a reasonable accompaniment of dipping sauces. The new location picks up where the other location goes, still delicious burgers with the best pommes in Wichita.
Our waitress, Brooke, has served our big group of 20 people well. It remembers all orders and delivered the food/check accordingly. I had the fish and chips, it was fantastic. I asked Brooke for Ketchup for my pommes, she remembers and brought it to me in no time while she served other people.
Fantastic. The Brussels sprouts of Lachsburg are extremely good. Kobe Rindburger, first-class stuff.
Good food. Good drinks. Staff was friendly. Nice place to hang out.
