Restaurant bewertenWe took the truffle class yesterday that was taught by the talented Rodrigo. It was so much fun! We learned to create our own granche to fill our truffles with after mixing our chocolate with cream. We tempered chocolate to make the shells too. We had lots of options to add to the chocolate granche (chili, cinnamon, ginger, sea salt, etc. so that added some spice. We also made bonbons that we rolled, then dipped and finally topped in chocolate. We added various toppings too. All in all, we made over 20 of these beauties. We’ve done their other bean to chocolate class but this was our favorite. Something to try when you’re in PV for sure!
The “Bean To Bar” class was a great way to spend an afternoon. I thought three hours was long for a class but the time flew by. The first half of the class, the history and processing of the cacao seed, was very interesting. In the second half we made a simple ganache that was then used to make molded chocolates and chocolate truffles. I may have found a new hobby today!
What an amazing experience! We took the Bean to Bar class as a family and had so much fun. It was two hours which I was worried about because our daughter is 7 and get fidgety but the instructor (Elizabeth) was engaging, friendly, informative and kept us busy the whole time. We learned all about the origins and history of chocolate and got to take home our own hand made treats. This is a great experience for families looking for activities in PV.
This was such a fun excursion! The chocolate alone was a great start; it was delicious! Fernanda was our instructor, and she was fabulous! We learned so much about the process of making chocolate. Our son had a great time interacting as well when grinding beans or making tea (he 's 10). When we asked him what the best part of our trip was, he said 'Making chocolate! '. Highly recommend!
My girlfriend and I took the 3pm class on chocolate making bean to bar) and honestly a great experience. Interaction in the class with the fellow 6 individual's kept the instructor engaged and informed us alot about the regional history of the c. I highly recommend going here and experiencing this class. We are definitely coming back for the mole making class we didnt know about it hahaha). Side note: engage with the instructors on the chocolate making process, they will give as much information as you ask.
