Herregaardskroen - Oslo

We tried the house white sauvignon blanc for 490kr per bottle, which was watered down and lacked character, with only a flowery taste. The aperol spritz for 125kr was strong and had a good amount of alcohol. For food, we ordered the regular mussels with broth for 225kr and the moule frites for 245kr, both cooked in a simple yet tasty white wine, cream, garlic, and broth sauce. The mussels were fresh and juicy, with a mix of sizes but not overly large. We also tried the herring platter with side salads for 220kr, which was a perfect appetizer and a refreshing summer dish. Overall, on a sunny day, if you're lucky enough to snag a table outside, this is a great place to sit, relax, and enjoy a cold beer.

A very nice place where you can relax and enjoy some nice eating while surfing in the park. the location is really beautiful as they have seen a full view of one of the two. the staff is very professional and friendly and helpful. the food I tried (a snack, not really a main course) was very good and healthy. very happy with the experience.

We ordered focaccia bread and a sorbet at the restaurant. However, they informed us that they had run out of focaccia and substituted with two sorbets. We politely declined the offer since we had only ordered one. The waitress became rude and insisted that they had been told we wanted two sorbets, leading to an argument.

Nice place, friendly service, decent food. Really nice location, especially during the summer. Enjoy people watching in the park.
