We arrived at Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey and took the airport express shuttle to New York, near Times Square. The shuttle was a bit late, but it wasn't a big deal. We had no other transportation options, so we waited patiently. Once we arrived, we settled in and unpacked our belongings. The driver was a bit of a daredevil, making some bold moves on the road. We quickly realized that driving in New Jersey and New York is quite different, with some crazy drivers around! Thankfully, we didn't eat right before taking the airport express, as our food might have come back up with all the unexpected twists and turns during the ride.
Bus was at least 20 minutes late on Saturday, so we had to give up. now, a bus stopped at our terminal and refused to take us to nyc because they ran after. take NJ transfer instead of cheaper, faster, more reliable.
I would recommend avoiding this restaurant unless absolutely necessary. The NJ transit to Penn is a more reliable, cheaper, and overall better option. Not only have they increased their prices for reduced service, but they also do not accept credit cards due to the pandemic, despite the convenience of contactless payment. Furthermore, after being forced to pay $19.50 to board, they do not provide change. Additionally, they no longer allow online ticket purchases even if one is already on the cash side. While the bus will get you to your destination (although timeliness may be an issue), I prefer to support companies with more transparent practices.
I waited outside for an hour, there were 2 scheduled bus times within that and it never came. Me and the other 20 people waiting had to take taxis. I contacted them for a refund and they refused and offered no apology.
