Bugis Street Brasserie at Millennium Gloucester Hotel

This canal-side restaurant is a hidden gem with excellent food, drinks, and staff. We stopped by on Saturday afternoon to reserve a space for a party we are planning.

I have dined at this restaurant multiple times and have always had a great experience. However, today was incredibly disappointing.

The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, but the overall experience was lacking.

There aren’t many Singaporean restaurants in London so we were keen to try Bugis Street. The food is good, although the menu includes a lot of more Chinese and even some Sechuan options and there were a lot of Singaporean classics that weren’t on the menu unfortunately. Service is friendly and helpful. It is however clearly a hotel restaurant and that is obvious from the size and decor: it’s quite empty and not the warmest of atmospheres.
