Restaurant bewertenPlace really hasn't changed. That might be a good thing for some, but I think becomes kinda stagnant after awhile. There's a lot of vendors there charging store prices for sub par product and that's a little irritating considering it's a flea market and I'm looking for that reason why I have to go here because it's the only place to get a certain product or food. Not saying there isn't some of those things here, but are far and few between. Sadly the experience of finding a flea market deal has been replaced with, do you know what this goes for on ebay? They just need to breathe a little new life into this space.
I love this place! The fresh veggies. The old, sometimes antique wares that are sold. The people are great too. Nostalgia. Takes me back to those days of my childhood.
I went there for herbal plants, in particular Spearmint (only two dealers at the time and neither had any)I did purchase a watch band, pyrex bowl, and fried veggies for a snack. I have trouble walking, at my age, so I am limited as to the areas I can shop.
I purchased tomatoes at the Amish stand and they hide the bad tomatoes on the bottom of the basket. The watermelon and other produce is left outside in the sun. It taste bitter. It is called Tuck Away Farm. They tell people they grow it. They buy it at the Lancaster produce auction. They don't grow it. The other produce and plant stands are honest. Have nice things. Stay away from the Amish Martins stand.
It is a fine flea market I did like the ambiance and everything is under a roof which is nice.. but if you 're expecting a farmer 's market don 't go here. They have like 1 produce stand and that 's really it as far as the farmers in farmers market goes.
