Hale Koa Efoot Beach - Honolulu

A fun place right on the beach! Learn while standing in line at the bar that you can sit at the tables and get a server to order. We have a nice place at the hedges to see the green and the beach. All the ladies who edit the tables were amazing. You take your card when you stay to order more drinks. After that we were addressed by name when we needed something else. Ordered the funny rum mixed drinks. Two maximum drinks per Hawaii regulation. Ask for a rum swimmer to make it a bit more rum forward and it's delicious. No food here, but on the way is a place for Deli style items that can be brought to your table.

Miss the old location, but still one of my favorite places in Waikiki. The service is great and Geri is the best. She's been there a long time. Every time we're a year of 5 years, she seems to remember us and how we like our drinks. Often they also have live music on the small stage not sure what the normal start times since every night they had music, it was another start time. If your military will get you 20% discount on your bill.

This is just off the beach enough that the rowdy beach crowd give it a miss and those who like a quiet drink in a relaxed environment can enjoy one. It is close to the Army Museum and offers reduced prices for military and ex military folk. Tasteful music later in the evening. Reasonable prices. A very relaxed place for a drink.

This place will always hold a special place in my heart! The Garza is named after my brother who frequented this bar MANY times over the 3 years he lived on Oahu. They did an incredible job encompassing him in a drink. The bartenders were so friendly and quick. Came here almost every night to have at least one Garza. Even if you don't like grapefruit juice (which I don't) I would highly recommend trying!!

Best lava flow on the island and that is my hill to die on. This bar services both military and civilian customers. If you show your military ID or hale Kona room key you'll get the discounted drink rate, but even the non military prices are very competitive. There is live music many nights on the lawn, some tables have umbrellas if there's rain. Otherwise, it's very nice being outside. You can either order from your table or order at the bar. I prefer to order at the bar.
