Hale Koa Efoot Beach - Honolulu

This place will always hold a special place in my heart! The Garza is named after my brother who frequented this bar MANY times over the 3 years he lived on Oahu. They did an incredible job encompassing him in a drink. The bartenders were so friendly and quick. Came here almost every night to have at least one Garza. Even if you don't like grapefruit juice (which I don't) I would highly recommend trying!!

Best lava flow on the island and that is my hill to die on. This bar services both military and civilian customers. If you show your military ID or hale Kona room key you'll get the discounted drink rate, but even the non military prices are very competitive. There is live music many nights on the lawn, some tables have umbrellas if there's rain. Otherwise, it's very nice being outside. You can either order from your table or order at the bar. I prefer to order at the bar.

We set out at the Barefoot Bar on a Friday night enjoying fireworks while drinking Mai Tais with our friends. Life doesn't get much better than that!

5 stars for the Mai Tai! A good place to take a break from work. Service is fast and Joe the bartender makes a great Mai Tai. Cheers!

Great spot but some shortcomings:Did not have a place to dance along with the music as the old location.Also, not food service?If these were corrected, I would rate the full 5 stars.Must note that the location is much better with the shady trees and larger capacity.
