Restaurant bewertenFor our 5-year anniversary we decided to try Creations at the Sawridge Inn for our solemn lunch. We finished the booking in the private Art Gallery room, and we had the most amazing 3-course meal and service was above the top. When we arrived, the tables were set and management and servers were waiting and ready. The service was timely, fresh and tasty. Everyone enjoyed their meal, and from a group of 24 people, we received nothing but positive feedback. The servers are excellent and were very friendly to speak. I would recommend everyone. We will definitely come back! Thank you to Thomas, Daniel, Jessica and the staff that is so accommodating.
Had a very nice breakfast here for a meeting. The food was very good. Service was very effective. The servers were great to make sure our table was cleared, but still we have the space we needed to have the meeting we wanted. Will be back for another breakfast meeting.
Outstanding Hospitality of Staff My family and I recently lived at Sawridge Inn South Edmonton for a month because of the Forest Fire Evacuation in Fort McMurray. All employees treated us with such kindness and compassion and talked about every request we had for comfort and comfort. They reduced our rooms and made special exceptions for our pet. I highly recommend this place and stayed there many times before this time and always had an exemplary service. The food is great! Free breakfast is amazing with many choices and the rooms are well cleaned and beds/pillows are very comfortable. We will stay there every time we visit the city:
Had a business meeting here and really satisfied with this place. The atmosphere is quiet enough for a business meeting, but romantic enough if you want to have a date night. My colleague had the fish and chips and it was a very generous dish. I had the chicken club burger, the taste was great, it even had deep fried pimples in it. The server was friendly and attentive. The only drawback is that the train runs just outside the restaurant and when it passes, you can feel the building hat.
So I came with a large party. My experience was 4 stars, I'm sure a couple of my group would have given lower, I'll explain why, but I'll stick with the rating I experienced. So the way their Sunday brunch works is you order from a small menu and then have access to a buffet as well . I ordered a chicken and waffles Benny, which was amazing. The waffle was pretty sweet and it was cheap on the hollandaise but it was still delicious. The buffet was small, but it was good. The salads all come in little cups, so you don't spoon it up yourself or anything you just grab a cup of whatever salads you want. Now the reason some in my group will have had a bad experience. Some of the ordered entrees were forgotten by the kitchen. And then when the waitress went to have them try a second time they were forgotten again. I ended up receiving someone's omelette towards the end of the meal, which I didn't eat because I was stuffed and I didn't even order it. I poked at it though and it was clearly rushed as it was runny in the middle! Now if they want to review this place lower that's on them. My experience was pretty solid. The food was good for me, the price was super cheap, and the dining room had an amazing aesthetic.
