Restaurant bewertenAs I looked at the display of pre-wrapped California Rolls, I asked the man behind the counter if they had sushi at which point he looked at me like I was blind, telling me that what I was looking at was sushi; I clarified with a request for sashimi or nigiri sushi and he then looked completely lost - clearly not having any idea of the language I was speaking. It's a take-away with pre-wrapped California Rolls - that's it. If that's what you're looking for, it's probably great but when I walked into Sushi To You, I was looking for what I know as sushi and that's nigiri.
The picture of their recommended lunch special noodle dish looked to die for - a bowl full of steaming deliciousness that I couldn't resist. Imagine my disappointment when my senses were assaulted with that cheap smell, look and taste of satay and kecap manis seasoning found in the Indomie noodle range you buy at Coles and Woolies supermarkets. Brought me back to my backpacker days. Yuk, couldn't eat it. If an authentic noodle dish is your thing try Yummy Noodle in Scarness
Almost every time I go there, the price changes?!? I've paid from $6 for 4 up to $18, is this not a ridiculous difference? And then that is after I spend 10 mins every 2 days trying to explain what inari is! And NO MAYO MEANS NO MAYO!!! you really need to get your stuff together, the language barrier has been near impossible at times. Extremely pissed! Would not recommend this to anyone
I was a regular customer of this store. A group of us were going to buy Sushi on Good Friday. The sales assistant was extremely rude. As a result,we left without buying anything and I will never return to this business. The staff really need training on customer service - this business just lost selling out what little they did have in their window. My custom will now go to the other Sushi businesses in the area that have great customer service and better quality sushi.
Like the title says, the sushi is ok - nothing to write home about but good for a quick lunch. The steamed dumplings and dim sims were bland and boring though. I would not order them again. Not sure if it's the steam box they use but we're weird tasting so I ended up throwing them out.
