"The location is beautiful and the food was okay ,but the service was mediocre bread in a brown paper bag was carelessly placed on our table its was awkward we did not know what to do it, and was not appetizing at all. Our waiter...did not bother to check on us after the food was served ,water or drinks were never refilled. We were charged for wine that was ordered but never received The place is in a beautiful setting ,unfortunately the service and miserable atmosphere lets it down"

"After years of absence here I am by chance to walk the shaded and fresh path that leads to this beautiful grotto positioned in a wonderful way in front of morcote and with view to lugano and surrounding mountains. excellent polenta and mushrooms, slightly lacking mushrooms compared to the portion of polenta, vabbé. real grotto environment, boards with dishes instead of paper, prices contained (although the tart of the house can be improved,) tables and benches in stone, really beautiful. sin for the blonde maid (Russian? in a grotto? mah.) cheated, deranged ( forgot to bring us as ordered,) lost our account, then lost the pen x remake it and eventually had difficulty to do it by memory. he made us pay the wrong price x the dry meat and ended the service smuffando. We had the serious doubt that it was a big deal. staff absolutely to replace ev to be educated!"

"Siamo stati in famiglia per festeggiare un compleanno.Servizio fantastico, presentazione dei piatti eccellente, cibo ottimo e la più parte fatto in casa! Che dire: il top!!Unica pecca: il prezzo. Un po' caro, ma più o meno nella norma per essere in Svizzera....Lo consiglio a chiunque voglia sentirsi un principe per una sera, perché è così che ti trattano in questo locale: da signori!!!!!!"
