Such a lovely place and the food was simply superb. Reasonably priced and so tasty. On top, a great range of beers. Jackson was a superb waiter and I’d highly recommend to anyone in the area.

My son and his fiancée booked the Elgin for their wedding reception on July 29th 2023. I have to say that I couldn’t fault one single thing. The food, atmosphere and staff were all 10 out of 10. The staff were friendly, patient and efficient. Food was brought out in a timely fashion and all the guests commented how good it was. I have never had such good food in a pub or at a wedding. We’re definitely returning when we can for dinner!

I’m a local and love coming here on a day off just to get my emails done and any reviews I need to catch up on. Staff friendly and the wines are nice and cold. Would recommend just waiting to come for food in t(e evening.

I was very disappointed with my Saturday brunch experience at this restaurant. I had a good experience a few months ago, but this time was really bad. The service was very slow and the food arrived cold. It seemed like the food had been sitting out for a long time before it was served. The burger looked disappointing and one of my guests had a very average sausage and eggs dish. The location is great, but I would rather get a sandwich from Gail next time I am in the area.
