Restaurant bewertenOn a busy weekend morning, with a wait time of approximately 45 minutes we were given a complimentary cup of glass water. The French toast was airy and light. The subtle sweetness from the hints of cinnamon with the touch of syrup was amazing. The breakfast plate, I think was personally the best with variety of different taste palate. Everything on it was simple and delicious. Beignets are alright so is the $8 slice of cake.
Pastries were way too expensive and were okay but not great.
We had been meaning to try this since tasting her cakes at the Bakery Bar. I want to say how wonderful the staff was attentive to the customers on a Saturday morning, advising us on menu options. Every morsel was delicious and wonderful. The staff was highly efficient and kept my coffee mug filed. The cakes with eggs and breakfast sandwich were perfect, eggs perfectly fluffy. It was a wonderful adventure to river town and a place one should not miss out on.
I 'm ashamed for not trying this place sooner. It 's been on my list far too long. Anyway, I highly recommend giving this place a try! It says 'bakery ', but it is a whole lot more! Like a cafe or a bistro. I had the 'Breakfast Plate ' with scrambled eggs, bacon an extra biscuit. Bacon was good crispy. Eggs and biscuits were good, too. My wife had the 'Breakfast Burrito ' with bacon and sausage, and it was soo good! They use 'Pretty Coffee ' and it 's very good. Next time we need to try one of their desserts. Or cocktails! Yeah, they got those, too!
Food and staff was amazing. Will definitely be back
