Launch Eatery - Hilton Head Island

Delicious meal! Our waiter, Koumon was exceptional; polite, happy, warm and friendly! We enjoyed salmon with risotto. Celebrated a birthday and I was offered a choice of desserts! Great evening!

We were in town for a conference and it was suggested we make dinner reservations ahead of time. I turned to Open Table to look for something a little special for our weekend away, and found Ela's. It was tucked away on the marina and after the sun went down, the twinkling lights on the boats added to the ambiance. The pork chop and scallops were both outstanding and Karen was a fantastic server.

We enjoyed the food and service at our table. The bartender at the bar was very rude and didn't want to wait on us as we waited on our table, but other than that, it was a great experience . Food was great and the waiter was outstanding.

Ela's On the Water was outstanding! This was our first visit to Ela's. Everything exceeded our expectations. The view of the water, the service, the food, the atmosphere every part of the meal was exceptional. We will return! Highly recommended!!

We were given a table which had hardly any light, when we told them the manager said he did not realize that the light was not working. The bread was cold and the butter was rancid. The food was ok but when I was finished and I happened to be looking at my phone for a message the waitress took my food and did not ask me if I wanted to take it home. In other restaurants they always ask us if we wanted to take our expensive food (tuna) home. Overall very bad experience. Other restaurants in Hilton head were so friendly.
