"Obwohl der Chef des Hauses nicht der freundlichste ist (auf Stammgäste ist man wegen der Masse an Tagestouristen ja nicht angewiesen) haben wir uns auf die Terrasse dieses Cafés gesetzt. Apfelstrudel und warmer Schokokuchen haben geschmeckt, auch der Verlängerte und der grosse Braune waren gut. Die Bedienung war schnell und nett. Aber so richtig willkommen hat man sich nicht gefühlt...."

"bang slap in the middle of the beautiful filzmoos you will find this truly authentic Austrian restaurant. it is small and cozy and they are always made to really feel welcome. eating is typically hearty Austrian farewell, the portions are huge and the carvings are really...delic, especially with the cranberry sauce! Make sure to book a table in the main part of the restaurant, not in the outdoor corridor bit that is nowhere so cozy. the atmosphere is a bit like a village pub, not a restaurant that pretends to be a pub, but a real local pub. sometimes we were the only English people there, but they always welcomed us and have English menus. So if they are looking for an authentic Austrian restaurant, instead of an anemic tourist restaurant, they fiaker wet an attempt, they will not be disappointed!"
