Dies ist das einzige Menü unter vielen in Charlottesville, das wirklich anders und aufregend ist. Ich hatte die Entenbrust, die perfekt gekocht und von einer großartigen Sauce, geschmortem Mangold und einem Zwiebel-Manchego-Brotpudding begleitet war, und meine Frau liebte ihren Lachs. Wir begannen mit einer Bestellung von Muscheln (nicht so scharf wie abgebildet und sehr gut) und dem Spinatsalat mit gebratenen Austern - alles ausgezeichnet. Die Hauptgerichte von Schweinekotelett und Ente waren gut zubereitet. Der Mangold mit winzigen Speckstücken mit der Ente war eine schöne Abwechslung. Das Kirschkompott war etwas überwältigend. Versuchte den Bonarda-Rotwein (normalerweise in Edelstahl gereift, so dass ihm der weiche, fruchtige Geschmack fehlte), kehrte aber zu einem zuverlässigen Malbec zurück. Hatte einen Server in der Ausbildung, der gute Arbeit geleistet hat; Ihr Mentor lächelte nicht viel, was enttäuschend war. Insgesamt ein angenehmes Essen.

The first trays included cheesy pitas with a delicious sauce, followed by a variety of dishes like salad, pasta, bagels, salmon, and hummus. Traditional American breakfast items like pancakes, potatoes, and eggs were also part of the meal, along with kabobs, meatballs, and mushrooms. We ended with a dessert tray featuring fresh fruit. The bottomless champagne, served with orange juice, was a nice touch. Birthday celebrants even received a special treat.
