"While we drive around the region, we stumbled on this magnificent local restaurant the best meal we had during the trip. it is located in the postcard pretty city chardonne, just like it in the village. great value for money, super local Kitchy atmosphere, filled... with local customers on the day we visited for lunch. excellent French cuisine in house style cook we loved the longue de boeuf with caper sauce (beef zunge) at chf 25 it was a real local joy that came with rosti kartoffeln. the fricandeux around chf 30 was amazing, it was local saucisson packed in bark meat a real carnival joy! the malakoffs (fried cheese balls) at chf 6.60 were a great starter, it is their local speciality that came in minicoff size (6 small portions) is perfect for the exchange between two people to get the gaumen. we would definitely have come back when we were in the region, warm service, passionate cooking and great local revenge."
