The Chocolate Drop Candy Shop - Belfast

Cute ice cream shop from the past with a candy store full of candies from the past. Though the ice cream was not our cup of tea. It tasted more like butter than the usual small town homemade ice cream that we are use to. So it felt oily and it was hard to finish. Unfortunately this is a hard pass for us.

Amazing place to get some candy or if you want to get ice cream it's amazing for that too. Amazing, kind and caring people there as well. Highly highly recommend

People are so nice, very nostalgic. 60-70s vibes. Will always be coming back.

Great spot to stop for an ice cream cone, and also has a bewildering array of candy. If there's something you liked as a kid, there's a good chance you'll find it here. The ice cream was very rich, with a great texture. Staffed by a single individual who was polite and helpful, even for some late-season visitors like us. Only demerit is for the strange lighting in the store. It was so incredibly dim it seemed like half the lights were off, and it made menus hard to read. Other than that, great choice for a treat!

Fun place to visit. Staff very helpful, courteous and friendly. Ice cream was delicious. Highly recommend.
